Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 October 2026
Acceptance
By using Rage PvP (“the Service”) you’re agreeing to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the Service. The Service is run by Snugbeast. It means this website, Rage Launcher, the Rage Guard game mod, and the online features that go with them. The software itself is covered by the End User License Agreement, and the Privacy Policy explains the data involved.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13. Where the law sets a higher age, such as 16 in parts of the EU and the UK, you need a parent or guardian’s permission. Parents can limit Friends and voice chat in Rage Launcher; see the parents’ guide. You need your own Minecraft: Java Edition account to play online, and you’re responsible for what happens under your account.
What the Service is
Rage PvP publishes competitive Minecraft PvP rankings. Tiers are assigned automatically by a plugin running on participating game servers, based on match performance, such as who a player beat and how many opponents they’ve beaten. These rankings reflect the scoring methodology built into that plugin, not an objective or authoritative measurement of anyone’s skill, and shouldn’t be treated as a factual statement about a player.
We can add, change, re-test, correct, or remove any ranking at any time, whether that’s to fix an error, reflect re-testing, or respond to someone trying to manipulate results.
Rage Launcher and in-game features
Rage Launcher and Rage Guard add Friends, messages, parties, voice chat, cosmetics, a Spotify remote, friend worlds, and cloud profiles. These run on our servers and on yours, and we can change, pause, or remove any of them. Rage Launcher also keeps unfair modifications off Rage servers; the EULA explains what it checks.
Friends, chat and voice
Friends can message you only after you both accept. Chat is checked for rule-breaking, links and contact details are blocked, and messages are deleted after 30 days. Don’t harass people, share personal details about anyone, send sexual or hateful content, or pretend to be staff. Reports go to our staff, and we can mute, ban, or remove access to Friends when someone breaks these rules.
Friend worlds
You can open the world you’re playing to the friends on your list. The world runs on your computer and stays open only while you’re in it; when you leave, everyone connected is dropped. You decide who is on your list, so you’re responsible for the world you open. We can close a world or turn the feature off if it’s being used to break these terms or to strain our relay. We don’t back up your worlds.
Cloud profiles and storage limits
Profiles you save to the cloud hold settings and a mod list, not the files themselves. Each account can keep up to 10 profiles, each profile has a size limit, and your whole cloud space has a cap. We can remove data that goes past those limits or that isn’t a real profile. Mods, packs and worlds stay on your computer.
Third-party services
Some features use other companies’ services: Microsoft sign-in, Minecraft, Modrinth and CurseForge for mods, Spotify for the in-game player, Discord for activity display, and mc-heads.net for skin images. Their terms and policies apply when you use them, and we aren’t responsible for them. The Spotify player controls your own Spotify app and needs your own Spotify account, and Premium for playback control.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- try to manipulate rankings, whether through cheating, result-fixing, or submitting false match data;
- access the Service’s API outside of what’s permitted, or try to bypass authentication, rate limits, or access controls;
- scrape, overload, or otherwise disrupt the Service, or use automated tooling in a way that degrades it for other people;
- use the Service to harass another person, or to publish unlawful, defamatory, or abusive content; or
- misrepresent your identity or impersonate another player.
We may suspend access, revoke API credentials, or remove a listing where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.
Player listings
Listings are keyed to public Minecraft account identifiers, meaning the UUID and username. If you’re listed and want your entry removed, open a support ticket in our Discord at discord.gg/ragepvp and we’ll process the request. See the Privacy Policy for what we store and why.
API access
API credentials are issued to specific server operators for specific purposes. They are confidential, must not be shared, and remain the responsibility of the operator they were issued to. We log API activity and can revoke credentials at any time, including without notice, if we believe they are being misused.
Availability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that rankings and statistics will always be accurate or current. We may modify or discontinue any part of it at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snugbeast won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Nothing here limits liability that can’t lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Intellectual property
The site design, code, and original written content belong to Snugbeast. Minecraft player names, UUIDs, and skins remain the property of their respective account holders and of Mojang Studios / Microsoft, and are shown here only for identification purposes.

Ending your access
You can stop using the Service at any time, and you can delete your Friends data from Rage Launcher. We can suspend or end access, including bans from Rage Launcher and Rage servers, when these terms are broken or when the law requires it. If you think a ban is wrong, open a Punishment appeal ticket on the support page.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will show up in the “last updated” date above, and continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, regardless of conflict of law rules.
